Brock T. Dubin is engaged exclusively in the trial of civil cases. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1994 and was awarded his J.D. from the Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1997. Attorney Dubin graduated Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University where he served as the Managing Editor of the Law Review and received the distinguished achievement award for his accomplishments in Trial Practice and Advanced Civil Procedure. He joined Donahue, Durham & Noonan, P.C. in 2001.
Attorney Dubin has extensive experience in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. He has been certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has tried several cases in state courts and before administrative agencies such as the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. He has also argued appeals before the Connecticut Appellate Court. His principal areas of practice are professional liability, including medical and legal malpractice, employment litigation, trucking litigation, products liability, commercial litigation and personal injury. Attorney Dubin is also active as a mediator and arbitrator in private dispute resolutions. Prior to joining Donahue, Durham & Noonan, P.C., Attorney Dubin's practice included representation of St. Vincent's Medical Center, Hall-Brooke Behavioral Health Services and Stamford Hospital.
Attorney Dubin is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Connecticut Bar Association, the New Haven County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Transportation Lawyers Association. He is admitted to the state and federal courts in Connecticut, New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Attorney Dubin was recognized as a "Rising Star" in Connecticut Magazine - an honor bestowed on only 2 1/2 percent of lawyers under age 40 in New England. Attorney Dubin has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation only trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
Attorney Dubin is active in St. Vincent's Medical Center Foundation Swim Across the Sound program which raises money for cancer patients and their families. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Hopkins School Alumni Association in New Haven and Harbor Health Services in Branford. Attorney Dubin frequently presents continuing legal education seminars and is also on the faculty of Quinnipiac University where he teaches trial practice. He grew up in Guilford and is a lifelong resident of the Connecticut shoreline.
